- The increasing popularity of marching bands and drum corps is apparent as more middle and secondary schools, youth groups, and other organizations develop marching programs. The broad interest in putting music in motion has opened up a new niche for a variety of marching percussion. Peaces new Mini Timbales are an especially versatile option. Possessing a wide tuning range, these compact shells are capable of producing the sound of real timbales, standard toms, or even RotoToms. An added benefit to the outfit is its low weight. Since the shells are only 3.5 deep, the instrument can be played comfortably by more players than standard tri-toms. The outfit includes Peaces adjustable MTC-1 aluminum carrier.
